S.O.S MUSIC was formed mid 2009 by John Scott, Seamus O'Doherty and Kev Scott. After a year of hard work we are nearing the completion of the demos for our first album 'A Pot Of What' with all songs written by John. The lead song on the album is the epic soul stirring, thought provoking 'Dont Forget Me (the ballad of Cpl.Smith)'. Based on the story of a local hero of our town Darren Smith who was killed in Afghanistan early last year. With the assistance of S.O.S Music session players Kenny Fraser-Jones, John Banx, Sarah Harris, Kev Doyle and Steve Pellatt we are currently rehearsing the 8 minute tribute in readiness to record it in the studio and release along with a fitting video package.
